Individual Counselling

Many people seek counselling because they recognize that old patterns are no longer serving them. They may feel stuck, overwhelmed, confused, or emotionally exhausted.

Counselling offers a grounded space to set down some of that weight and gently work through long-standing emotional pain, helping you move toward greater clarity, emotional balance, and a steadier sense of self.

Couples Counselling

Relationships flourish when both partners feel heard, understood, and emotionally connected.

Couples counselling provides a warm, supportive space to slow things down, listen beneath the conflict, and find your way back to one another. Together, we strengthen communication, rebuild trust, navigate difficult conversations, and deepen connection while honouring each person’s story, needs, and experiences.

Court-Ordered Counselling

$90.00 +HST

Beginning counselling through a court referral is rarely something people choose, and it can feel difficult or even overwhelming. Yet, it can also become an important turning point.

In a respectful, non-judgmental environment, we look beyond the incident itself to better understand the patterns, emotions, and decisions that contributed to the situation.

Accountability is an essential part of the process—but so is support.

Together, we work toward healthier choices, stronger emotional awareness, and meaningful, lasting change that extends far beyond meeting court requirements.

Carl Naraine

For more than three decades, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and discover new possibilities for growth and healing.

During my 36-year career with a leading Toronto social service agency, I served in several leadership roles, including Clinical Manager. I also pioneered a Men’s Wellness Program, providing both individual and group counselling for men experiencing anger, anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting challenges, and relationship difficulties.

Throughout my career, I have facilitated court-mandated counselling groups across Toronto, York Region, and Peel Region and have presented workshops for community organizations, professionals, and conferences throughout Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean on topics including couples counselling, domestic violence intervention, anger management, and emotional well-being.

Today, my passion remains the same as when I first entered this profession: creating a safe, respectful, and compassionate space where people feel understood, discover new perspectives, and develop the confidence to create lasting change.

I believe counselling is a journey of self-discovery and growth, and it is both a privilege and an honour to walk alongside those who entrust me with their stories.
